Ristorante Mamma Gina has been a landmark in Florentine cuisine in Italy since 1956. Thirty years later, in 1986, California residents were able to get their very own taste of Italy as Ristorante Mamma Gina made its way to the United States. 

Since then we have been serving the desert with the best Italian food you can find on this side of the world.

Ristorante Mamma Gina is proud to serve the Coachella Valley with their very own taste of Italy. Founded in 1986, Mamma Gina brought over its Italian heritage from Florence to serve the residents of Palm Springs with authentic and traditional Italian cuisine. 

At Mamma Gina, we pride ourselves on our authentic Italian cuisine, kitchen, and service with white linens and a very classy atmosphere, Ristorante Mamma Gina is the perfect spot for your next date night or family get together.

Ristorante Mamma Gina has been a strong and successful business since the late 1950’s. Our sister restaurant, Trattoria Mamma Gina, has served the hungry people of Florence, Italy since 1956. Set on the Fiume Arno, the most important river of central Italy, the staff of 16 serves their customers with the best wine and food selections in Northern Florence. Trattoria Mamma Gina is still serving all of Florence with quality Italian cuisine today.

Our sous chefs have been in the family business for the past 27 years and all of our employees have been with us no less than 15 years. All of our employees and chefs are passionate about bringing the tastes of their homeland onto your plate every time. We are constantly back and forth between our California and Florence locations to bring you back the heritage and culture that we know and love so much.

At Ristorante Mamma Gina, we have put a modern spin on our sister restaurant to provide Palm Springs with traditional Italian cuisine that is never old fashioned. Our family owned and operated business takes pride in bringing over our Italian heritage all the way from Florence to create the best authentic dishes for all of our customers around the world.

Bring your next special occasion to Ristorante Mamma Gina. Our Wine Room and Lounge are available for small private parties. For an intimate gathering our Wine Room accommodates between 10 to 18 people comfortably. For larger groups our Lounge accommodates parties up to 60 people. We have sample menus to choose from, or you can always create your own.
